Open Call: The New Current is looking for emerging artists!

With the preparations for The New Current 2026 in full motion, we are looking for new emerging artists to showcase their work in the upcoming exhibition during @rotterdamartweek from March 25–29. The exhibition “Connections” aims to offer visitors a powerful space for dialogue and self-reflection in a carefully curated setting.

Are you Netherlands-based and graduated within the last 5 years? Do you create time-based art, immersive installations, new media works or something in between?

We work with a small and dedicated team, and we are looking for artists who want to be actively involved in the process. Selected artists will receive an artist fee in line with the @mondriaanfonds guidelines. Please note that our preference goes to existing projects or artworks.
