BOILERS

Boilers is a light installation made from copper and glass. By blowing glass into old copper boilers, it bulges out, creating lenses that redirect and refract the light within. The results are alien-looking objects that create a mesmerising light-scape of shadows and reflections. The work explores Anna’s personal connection with light, evoking a feeling of wonder and amazement.

Anna Oudhof is an intuitive designer fascinated by light and nature. From natural to artificial, from complete darkness to direct sunlight, it has the ability to create a sense of peace. A soothing experience that can spark curiosity, inspiring to go beyond. Wonder and mystery are like encountering something alien in a world you thought you knew so well. Drawing inspiration from her fascinations for light and nature, Anna aims to evoke a feeling of wonder and curiosity, unveiling the extraordinary in everyday life.
